PMI North Saskatchewan chapter currently has a board made up of 24 positions:

All positions are 2 year terms (with certain positions having the option to extend for a second term). Officers are elected at the chapter's Annual General Meeting, and Directors are appointed. The President Elect automatically becomes President and subsequently Past President. The Board meets approximately 12 times a year.

Barbara Cross profile pictureBarbara Cross, PMP, President

Barb Cross, PMP, has been on the Board of Directors for four years as the VP of Professional Development, and is now President for the Chapter. She works with EXP Consulting as a trainer and consultant.

Pam Naicker profile picturePam Naicker, PMP, President-Elect


Pam is an independent Project Management consultant, delivering IT projects for over 15 years. She is now serving on the Board as President-Elect.

Jonathan Moore-Wright profile pictureJonathan Moore-Wright, Past President

Jonathan is pleased to serve as your Past President. He has been a member of PMI and the North Saskatchewan chapter since 2010 and has previously served terms as Vice President of Advocacy and Vice President of Communications. In his professional life he has held leadership roles in IT and project management for nearly 28 years and is currently an IT project manager at the City of Saskatoon. Jonathan enjoys spending time with his wife and daughter, travelling as often as possible. He is also an avid singer and bass player with a number of musical groups in Saskatoon including the Saskatoon Symphony Chorus and the 3M2C Latin Band. He is a strong advocate of volunteerism, and currently serves on the board of directors of the Saskatoon Opera.

Amanda works as a Digital Media Advisor for Nutrien. She enjoys working on challenging projects ranging from software implementation to digital strategy and website creation. In her spare time, she enjoys the outdoors with her family.

Lynn Gow profile pictureLynn Gow, PMP, Vice President of Member Services

Lynn is serving as VP of Member Services. She has been a member or PMI with a PMP designation since 2004 and served on the board previously for both the Vancouver Island and North Saskatchewan Chapters. Lynn has lived in Saskatoon since 2005 and is owner of Design for Life Coaching & Consulting providing Project Management and Organizational Change Consulting Services. Lynn enjoys connecting with others through a number of community organizations in addition to PMI as well as the occasional road trip getaway with her husband, John and dog, Grendel.

Ruth Glatt profile pictureRuth Glatt, PMP, P3O, Vice President of Volunteers

Ruth is serving as VP Volunteers and brings experience leading projects and Project Managers in the telecommunications, financial and R&D (Research & Development) industries. She has delivered many successful professional and volunteer projects, is a previous winner of the PMI North Saskatchewan Chapter Project of the Year award and contributed to the project management community as VP Professional Development, PMI North Saskatchewan Chapter 2009-2012. Leisure time is often enjoyed at the lake with family and friends.

Laurie Hayes profile pictureLaurie Hayes, PMP, Director of Accounting

Laurie Hayes, PAg, MSc, PMP, is the Director of Accounting. Her role is to, with the VP of Accounting, oversee all financial activities. Laurie, a Professional Agrologist with PMP certification, has 30 years of progressive leadership and management experience. She has led strategic planning, policy development and enterprise risk assessment for volunteer, non-profit and government agencies. Laurie has successfully managed more than 100 projects funded through 15+ agencies and 20+ programs, with budgets ranging from $500 to $12M. She brings a proven track record of leadership success, astute financial management, and a skill for understanding and balancing the needs of multiple stakeholders with diverse perspectives. She is an active volunteer in her personal and professional communities.

Alan Deschner profile pictureAlan Deschner, PMP, Director of Governance

Alan is now retired after a career as an IT project manager dealing mainly with applications development and installation. He has 32 years' experience, including 24 years in the central IT group at the University of Saskatchewan, the last 12 as a PM. Most of his work has been with student administration systems and teaching & learning applications. Alan has been a PMI member since 2003, obtained his PMP in 2013, and served on the Board of the North Saskatchewan Chapter for 7 years.

James Johannesson profile pictureJames Johannesson, Director of Information Technology

James Johannesson is the Manager, Business Analysis, Human Resources at Federated Co-peratives Limited. Previous to this, James gained significant management and systems experience at the University of Saskatchewan including the University Library, University Relations, Information and Communications Technology and Student and Enrollment Services. He also spent time at the University of Calgary as the Executive Director, Development Services where he led an operations team supporting the university’s fundraising efforts. James has interests in project management and how it intersects with quality in ongoing projects.

Lynn Francis profile pictureLynn Francis, PMP, Director of Membership

Lynn Francis, PMP is currently the Project Manager for Francis Group Contracting, a family-based construction company. She completed the Business Administration Certificate course at U of S in 2002, then joined PMINSC in 2004, immediately volunteering as V.P. Communications from 2004 – 2008 and V.P. Membership from 2008 – 2012. Lynn obtained her PMP designation in 2006, becoming the first woman and non-P.Eng. to do so at Cameco Corporation at that time.

Mary Ann obtained her PMP in 2016 and joined the PMI North Saskatchewan Chapter in 2018. Her previous experience includes Software Development and Project Management working in both traditional and agile project management practices. Mary Ann enjoys playing badminton and spending quality time with her husband John and daughter Johanna.

Dianne Allen profile pictureDianne Allen, M.Eng., PMP, Director of Professional Development Events

Dianne is a management consultant and community volunteer, applying skills developed over many years of managing projects and programs. She is pleased to have the opportunity offered by PMI North Saskatchewan Chapter to facilitate project management training in Saskatoon. As the recipient of the 2016 PMI North Saskatchewan Chapter Project of the Year Award, she attributes that project’s success in part to the careful application of the PMI Project Management Body of Knowledge and the training offered by this PMI Chapter.

Rama has been volunteering with the chapter for more than four years, starting with the Professional Development team, and is now Director of Programs for the Chapter. She works as an independent Project Management Consultant.

Rose Santos is an Engineering Manager at SaskPower. Previous experience includes various design and project management roles in the oil and gas, telecommunications, mining, and utilities sectors. She obtained her PMP designation in 2012. She has been a member of the PMI North Saskatchewan Chapter since 2006, and previously served as VP Membership from 2012 to 2013.

Artak Babayan profile pictureArtak Babayan, PMP, Director of Volunteer Recognition

Artak works as a Senior Consultant and Project Manager for Solvera. He always looks for challenging projects in new products development, as well as new networks and infrastructure implementation projects. He started volunteering for PMI North Saskatchewan chapter from the time he moved to Saskatoon with his family.

Jennifer Maier profile pictureJennifer Maier, PMP, P. Eng., Event Administrator

Jennifer joined the PMI North Saskatchewan Chapter as Event Administrator in late 2017. In the fall of 2017, she earned her PMP credential while working on construction projects in the heavy industrial sector. She also holds a Professional Engineering designation and volunteers on her local community association executive board in the role of Volunteer Coordinator.

Tanya Stankovic profile pictureTanya Stankovic, PMP, CBAP, Secretary

Tatjana started volunteering with the Chapter in 2013 as a member of Professional Development Day Committee and is now serving as the Chapter Secretary. She is a PMI member since 2009 and has obtained her PMP certification in 2011. She works at Saskatchewan Blue Cross as a Senior IT Business Analyst, performing in a dual Project Manager/Business Analyst role.
