Open for nominations - Project of the Year 2018
Our team of volunteers has been working on criteria for the 2018 Project of the Year award, an annual award recognizing excellence in project management.
Each year, the Project Management Institute, North Saskatchewan Chapter (PMI-NSC), recognizes one project that best demonstrates the value to that Project Managers deliver within our chapter. We present this award to the Project Manager(s) whose projects demonstrate leadership and create innovation for organizations. The selected project will have delivered significant value and return on investment for the customer, and demonstrated organizational and societal benefits beyond the stated scope of the project.
Qualifications
In order to qualify, Project Managers must be nominated:
- Exceptional performance on at least one PMI knowledge area
- Capital budget of at least $50,000 and up to $100,000 or more
- Not a recurring or operational project
- Project completion date between January 1st,2018 and January 31st, 2019
If there is more than one qualified project, the selection team shall consider:
- Best cost and value, per dollar spent (ROI) for the client
- Organizational and societal benefits
- Agility of delivery or innovation of solution
Recognition
The winning Project Manager and organization will receive:
- Plaque or trophy for display at their office
- Free admission to the June 2018 PMI-NSC Annual General Meeting for
- The award presentation at the same meeting, for the Project Leader(s) (up to 2 representatives of their client organization)
- Recognition on social media and a dedicated page on our website
- Opportunity to present their project at a monthly luncheon
- Optional: announcement of the award at a company meeting or event by the VP Marketing and/or Director of Outreach
