Presentation Overview:
More and more, we are seeing employees go off on sick leave, or stress leave. Other employees have absence issues, sometimes based on medical concerns, and sometimes based on the employee’s own fault. Employers need to be cautious about dealing with these absences, to avoid issues like human rights complaints. This session will walk through some of the common issues related to accommodation and absences, and offer some practical tips on how to deal with the common issues.
Presentation Learning Objective:
Ability to recognize, and deal with, common issues related to accommodation and absences from work.
