All positions are 2 year terms (with certain positions having the option to extend for a second term). Officers are elected at the chapter's Annual General Meeting, and Directors are appointed. The President Elect automatically becomes President and subsequently Past President. The Board meets approximately 12 times a year.

Barb Cross, PMP, has been on the Board of Directors for four years as the VP of Professional Development, and is now President for the Chapter. She works with EXP Consulting as a trainer and consultant.

Pam is an independent Project Management consultant, delivering IT projects for over 15 years. She is now serving on the Board as President-Elect.

Jonathan is pleased to serve as your Past President. He has been a member of PMI and the North Saskatchewan chapter since 2010 and has previously served terms as Vice President of Advocacy and Vice President of Communications. In his professional life he has held leadership roles in IT and project management for nearly 28 years and is currently an IT project manager at the City of Saskatoon. Jonathan enjoys spending time with his wife and daughter, travelling as often as possible. He is also an avid singer and bass player with a number of musical groups in Saskatoon including the Saskatoon Symphony Chorus and the 3M2C Latin Band. He is a strong advocate of volunteerism, and currently serves on the board of directors of the Saskatoon Opera.

Amanda works as a Digital Media Advisor for Nutrien. She enjoys working on challenging projects ranging from software implementation to digital strategy and website creation. In her spare time, she enjoys the outdoors with her family.

Lynn is serving as VP of Member Services. She has been a member or PMI with a PMP designation since 2004 and served on the board previously for both the Vancouver Island and North Saskatchewan Chapters. Lynn has lived in Saskatoon since 2005 and is owner of Design for Life Coaching & Consulting providing Project Management and Organizational Change Consulting Services. Lynn enjoys connecting with others through a number of community organizations in addition to PMI as well as the occasional road trip getaway with her husband, John and dog, Grendel.

Ruth is serving as VP Volunteers and brings experience leading projects and Project Managers in the telecommunications, financial and R&D (Research & Development) industries. She has delivered many successful professional and volunteer projects, is a previous winner of the PMI North Saskatchewan Chapter Project of the Year award and contributed to the project management community as VP Professional Development, PMI North Saskatchewan Chapter 2009-2012. Leisure time is often enjoyed at the lake with family and friends.

Laurie Hayes, PAg, MSc, PMP, is the Director of Accounting. Her role is to, with the VP of Accounting, oversee all financial activities. Laurie, a Professional Agrologist with PMP certification, has 30 years of progressive leadership and management experience. She has led strategic planning, policy development and enterprise risk assessment for volunteer, non-profit and government agencies. Laurie has successfully managed more than 100 projects funded through 15+ agencies and 20+ programs, with budgets ranging from $500 to $12M. She brings a proven track record of leadership success, astute financial management, and a skill for understanding and balancing the needs of multiple stakeholders with diverse perspectives. She is an active volunteer in her personal and professional communities.

Alan is now retired after a career as an IT project manager dealing mainly with applications development and installation. He has 32 years' experience, including 24 years in the central IT group at the University of Saskatchewan, the last 12 as a PM. Most of his work has been with student administration systems and teaching & learning applications. Alan has been a PMI member since 2003, obtained his PMP in 2013, and served on the Board of the North Saskatchewan Chapter for 7 years.

James Johannesson is the Manager, Business Analysis, Human Resources at Federated Co-peratives Limited. Previous to this, James gained significant management and systems experience at the University of Saskatchewan including the University Library, University Relations, Information and Communications Technology and Student and Enrollment Services. He also spent time at the University of Calgary as the Executive Director, Development Services where he led an operations team supporting the university’s fundraising efforts. James has interests in project management and how it intersects with quality in ongoing projects.

Jennifer joined the PMI North Saskatchewan Chapter as Event Administrator in late 2017. In the fall of 2017, she earned her PMP credential while working on construction projects in the heavy industrial sector. She also holds a Professional Engineering designation and volunteers on her local community association executive board in the role of Volunteer Coordinator.
