Corey McDougall is with Concentra Bank’s Corporate Program Management office, which is responsible for the delivery of the organizations strategic projects and programs as well as managing the organization’s Business Continuity Program. Corey has over 20 years of experience in business analysis, project, program and portfolio management from the aerospace and defense, insurance, and banking industries. Professional certifications include, PMP, ACP, Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP), Management of Portfolios (MoP)– Practitioner, Managing Successful Programmes (MSP) – Practitioner, Managing Benefits – Practitioner.

Presentation Overview

Businesses undertake projects and change programs to deliver benefits, however, they are frequently criticized for failing to achieve them. In many organizations, a business case is required for the approval of a project investment but following approval, the business case is never looked at again. Benefits Realization Management provides a structured approach to identifying and quantifying benefits, planning for the realization, measuring and monitoring throughout the project as well as after transition to the business unit.
