Presentation Overview

Even though the world around us has seen significant technological advancements, productivity in the building industry over the past five decades has flat-lined or declined relative to all other non-farm industries. Seventy percent of all projects end over budget and delivered late.

Research shows that almost 60% of activity on construction projects is non-value add, a.k.a. waste. Traditional project delivery is rooted in adversarial, siloed processes that all too often result in unsatisfied building owners with designers, builders and suppliers competing against each other to limit their risk exposure. Not a great formula for success.

The good news! … Globally the building industry is adopting Lean principles and methodologies to achieve better results and value for all players. Lean project delivery is a growing competitive advantage for practitioners. The documented benefits show better project outcomes for owners and more profitable, satisfying results for designers, constructors and supply chain. Learn how adopting Lean methodologies can improve your bottom line while contributing to greater over-all project value. Projects are, after all, a team sport.
